Lavender Country Expands First Tour in 40 Years

Earlier this year, Paradise of Bachelors released a reissue of the 1973 self-titled album by Lavender Country, which has been cited as the first country album by an openly gay artist, singer/songwriter Patrick Haggerty. (Hear a highlight, “Cryin’ These Cocksucking Tears”, above.) Earlier this month, Haggerty announced his first tour in 40 years. Now, he’s added a handful of dates that will keep him on the road through December. Check out the full schedule below.
