Pitchfork.tv’s “Director ID” series, a collaboration with Portuguese music and arts television network Canal 180 that profiles some of the best directors working in music videos today, continues with new episodes. The latest features LeBlanc + Cudmore, who have directed clips for Spoon, Fucked Up, the New Pornographers, Metz, Alt-J, Belle and Sebastian, and more.

In this episode, Michael LeBlanc and Scott Cudmore discuss their technique of appearing in their own videos. They also discuss how plot figures into their work, and cite some of their directorial influences.
