Liam Gallagher Surprises at Manchester Benefit, Joins Coldplay for “Live Forever”: Watch

Tonight, Liam Gallagher surprised the audience at the “One Love Manchester” benefit concert when he took the stage to perform a handful of Oasis songs and his new solo single, “Wall of Glass.” Gallagher sang “Rock n’ Roll Star,” and later Coldplay joined him to sing “Live Forever” from Oasis’ 1994 album Definitely Maybe. Watch below beginning at 2:58:00. On Tuesday, Gallagher performed an a cappella version of “Live Forever” during his very first solo show in Manchester. As Billboard reports, the benefit concert raised over $3 million for the British Red Cross, bringing the Manchester Emergency Fund’s total over $12 million.

Earlier in the evening, Coldplay also covered Oasis’s “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” singing the song directly to Ariana Grande.
