Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz Share “Gotta Lotta” From Collegrove Collaboration
Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have shared “Gotta Lotta,” a new song from their forthcoming collaborative project, Collegrove. The track premiered today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. You can stream it above. Tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern, 2 Chainz will preview the project on Collegrove Radio, a Beats 1 show that will also feature appearances from DJ Drama, Mannie Fresh, DJ Self, and DJ E.Sudd. The album drops at midnight. “Gotta Lotta” follows “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday,” which they performed on “The Tonight Show.”
Last year, Lil Wayne released No Ceilings 2, FWA, and Sorry for the Wait 2. 2 Chainz released Trap-A-Velli Tre last year. He’s already dropped Felt Like Cappin in 2016.
Update (3/3, 3:26 p.m. EST): 2 Chainz has shared a 45-second preview of the upcoming visual for “Bounce,” another collaboration between the two. Below, watch them partake in a rap battle; Wayne spits some bars from Tha Carter III‘s “A Milli,” while 2 Chainz recites lines from Trap-A-Velli Tre’s “Watch Out.”
