Listen to Ariel Pink and Weyes Blood’s New Song “Tears on Fire”
Ariel Pink and Weyes Blood have shared the first song from their new collaborative EP, Myths 002. Listen to “Tears on Fire” below. The EP (out January 27 via Mexican Summer), is coming out in conjunction with Marfa Myths 2017; it’s available as part of an “Early Bird Bundle” for the festival.
In addition to the EP, Mexican Summer has announced that Ariel Pink will release a new record on the label “sometime 2017.” Pink’s last album—Pom Pom—came out in 2014.
In 2015, Weyes Blood and Ariel Pink collaborated on a track by Mild High Club; they also worked together on Ariel Pink’s 2012 album Mature Themes. At Marfa Myths, Weyes Blood will perform new music with Perfume Genius. See her upcoming tour dates here.
