Loretta Lynn Suffers Stroke, Reschedules Tour Dates

Loretta Lynn suffered a stroke while at her home in Hurricane Mills, TN, and was admitted to a hospital last night, as Rolling Stone reports. The 85-year-old country music legend was slated to begin a series of tour dates tonight at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, NC. That show, and other upcoming scheduled shows, have been cancelled and will be rescheduled. Lynn is “currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery,” according to her website. In 2015, she was inducted to the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville, alongside Jack White. She has a new album on the way titled Wouldn’t It Be Great, which is out August 18.
