Lower Dens Announce New Album Escape From Evil, Share "To Die in L.A."

Lower Dens have announced the follow-up to their 2012 album NootropicsEscape From Evil is out March 31 in North America and March 30 everywhere else via Ribbon Music. Check out the first single from the record “To Die in L.A.” below. That’s the cover art up there.

The album was produced by the band’s Jana Hunter. It was co-produced and mixed by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House, Future Islands). The band also collaborated with Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Sky Ferreira, Haim), John Congleton (Swans, St. Vincent, Cloud Nothings), and others on the album. On March 31, Lower Dens will play an album release show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right.
