Lupe Fiasco Won’t Release Three New Albums This Year After All

Lupe Fiasco Won’t Release Three New Albums This Year After All

Last year, Lupe Fiasco announced that he planned to three albums in 2016: DrogaSkulls, and Roy. Since then, he’s periodically kept fans updated, saying in January that Roy “will be [his] last album.” Today, Lupe has announced via Twitter that there is a “strong chance” he wont’t release a new album this year. He cites “clearances and mixing issues” as preventing him from releasing the recorded material, and pushes the release of Drogas “beyond realistic deadlines.” You can find his tweets below. His last album was 2015’s Tetsuo & Youth.
