Lush Breaking Up Again, Announce Final Show

Lush have announced that they are once again breaking up. In a statement, the band said, “It’s been a fantastic year for Lush… However, it is now time for us to return to our families and homes, and bring our time together as a band to a close. We offer heartfelt thanks to all our fans—this reunion would never have happened without your overwhelming support and dedication.” Read the full note below. Lush have also announced their upcoming performance at Manchester Academy in England on November 25 will be their last, with Modern English bass player Michael Conroy joining them.

The British shoegaze band reunited last year to perform their first show in two decades, and earlier this year toured the United States and put out a new EP and career-spanning box set. Bassist Phil King departed the band in October, forcing them to cancel two of their November tour dates.
