M83’s “Go!” Gets 8-Bit Remix, Video Game
Last year, M83 released a new album called Junk featuring the track “Go!” with Steve Vai and Mai Lan. Now, in a new collaboration with Microsoft, Anthony Gonzalez has unveiled an 8-bit remix of the song made by Kurt Feldman. Listen to the remix below. Feldman’s remix appears on the digital “Go!” remix EP and also soundtracks “Meet Me At Go!,” an online game that allows listeners to race “through a retro-futuristic cityscape,” according to a press release. The 8-bit remix will appear on a limited edition blue “Go!” 12” vinyl that will be released on April 14. The 12” also includes a remix of the song by Animal Collective’s Deakin, along with an unreleased B-side, “Altered Love,” featuring Mai Lan.
