Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver Gets 40th Anniversary Soundtrack Reissue

Martin Scorsese’s classic film Taxi Driver turns 40 this year. To celebrate the anniversary, Waxwork Records will release Bernard Herrmann’s score on vinyl for the first time. (The remastered soundtrack will also be included in the double LP release.) The album is available on yellow and tri-color (yellow, black, and white) vinyl and comes with liner notes by Scorcese. The packaging artwork is by Rich Kelly. Find some additional packaging shots and previews from the soundtrack below. Update (1:19 p.m.): The soundtrack is out today. 

The film’s anniversary will also be celebrated on April 21 at Tribeca Film Festival. Scorsese, De Niro, Foster, Shepherd, and more will be on a panel for the film.
