Matt & Kim Cancel Tour After Kim Suffers Injury on Stage

Matt & Kim recently performed at Festival Vaivén in Morelos, Mexico. The day of their show, the duo had been filming their backstage activity for their “Matt and Kim Show Ya Stuff” series. In a new clip, Matt Johnson details various mishaps from the day, concluding with a serious on-stage injury to Kim Schifino, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her knee after landing awkwardly from a jump. She continued playing for five songs after the injury. In a second video, he and Schifino detail the injury and the aftermath. As a result, the band have canceled all of their upcoming performances, and estimate ninth months before they can play again.
