Max B’s 75-Year Prison Sentence Shortened

Earlier today, Wiz Khalifa said on Twitter that Harlem rapper Max B’s prison sentence “got shortened,” and that he is “coming home.” Later, French Montana shared a press release and statement from Max B and his representatives. The rapper has reportedly entered a plea agreement for the charge of aggravated manslaughter. Max B has been serving a 75-year prison sentence since 2009 after being charged of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping, and more. All of those charges will be dropped. French Montana shared a post claiming that he could be out between two and six years from now.

Max B thanked his legal team, the Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God, French Montana, and others in his statement. You can find Wiz Khalifa’s tweet and Max B’s statement below.

Earlier this year, Max B appeared in a minute-long voicemail on “Siiiiiiiiilver Surffffeeeeer Intermission” from Kanye’s Life of Pablo. Wiz Khalifa accused Kanye of copying Max B, who popularized the phrase “wavy” in his music. The accusation led to an angry response from Kanye. In a series of since-deleted tweets, Kanye criticized Wiz’s music and talked about his relationship with Amber Rose.
