MC Ren Angry That He's Left Out of Straight Outta Compton's Trailers

The N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is out August 14. Thus far, the film’s trailers have focused on Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Eazy-E. MC Ren (played by Aldis Hodge) doesn’t make an appearance in those trailers. Over on Twitter, he’s letting everyone know that he has a problem with that.

Billboard points out that the trailers don’t feature DJ Yella (played by Neil Brown Jr.), either. 

Marcus Callender plays Dr. Dre, Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. portrays his father, and Eazy-E is played by Jason Mitchell.

Ice Cube recently announced that he’ll reunite with Ren and Yella to perform N.W.A. songs on June 29 in L.A.
