Today, POP Montreal hosted the annual “POP vs. Jock” charity basketball game, which featured Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon, Win and Will Butler of Arcade Fire, and Nikolai Fraiture of the Strokes. At halftime, they picked up some instruments and covered Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight”, along with the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army”. As Stereogum reports, Arcade Fire member Regine Chassagne took part in the halftime show, as did A-Trak. Watch footage of both performances below, via Stereogum.
They were joined by former NBA player Brent Barry, and Matt Bonner served as coach. Proceeds from the event are going to DJ Sports Club.
