Michael Stipe to Debut New Solo Composition at MoogFest

Michael Stipe is participating in the upcoming annual MoogFest, where he will debut a “never-before-seen” multimedia installation. Stipe’s exhibition will consist of an “exploration of desire and movement,” using video footage that he shot in New York. It will be soundtracked by a new solo score by Stipe; according to a press release, it is the “first solo composition ever” from the R.E.M. frontman. The installation will run throughout the entire duration of the festival.
