Modern Baseball’s Brendan Lukens Not Touring With Band to “Focus on Mental Health”

Tomorrow, Modern Baseball play the first show on their European tour behind their 2016 record Holy Ghost. Today, the band’s Brendan Lukens announced that he will not join them for the European and UK shows. “I need this time at home to focus on my mental and physical health,” he writes. Lukens thanked the band for their support, and provided hotline numbers for people dealing with mental illness to call. Read his full note below. See Modern Baseball’s tour schedule here.

In 2015, Modern Baseball canceled tour dates for Lukens “to focus on making steps towards positive mental health.”
