Modest Mouse Subject of New Photo Book

Modest Mouse Subject of New Photo Book

Modest Mouse are the subject of a new book, Modest Mouse, which collects photos taken of the band between 1992 and 2010, the Fader reports. The photos were shot by Pat Graham, who lived with singer Isaac Brock in 1992 and began following them on tour as their career took off. Graham went on to his own career as a successful photographer, but continued to accompany the band on tour as the years went by.

In 2009, Graham released a zine of Modest Mouse photography, as well as a limited edition photo book.

“That part of my life is my favorite photography that I’ve ever done,” Graham told The Fader. “I’ve gone on to do a lot of other things, but this has always been in the background. It’s always been the base of what I do.”

The book is out now, via PowerHouse Books. The original photos will be showcased at the House of Vans in London from November 27 to December 12. Check out more photos from the book at the Fader.
