Modest Mouse's Jeremiah Green Explains Album Delay, Says Big Boi and Krist Novoselic Aren't on It

On March 3, Modest Mouse will release Strangers to Ourselves, their first studio album since 2007′s We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. In an interview with the podcast The Shit Show, drummer Jeremiah Green explains some of the factors that caused the album’s delay, such as the departure of founding bassist Eric Judy and the process of using multiple producers. Additionally, Green revealed that previously reported collaborations with Big Boi and Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic won’t appear on the album, though they may later surface.
