Mogwai Announce New Album Every Country’s Sun, Share New Song “Coolverine”
Mogwai have announced a follow-up to their last studio album, 2014’s Rave Tapes. It’s called Every Country’s Sun, and it’s out September 1 via Rock Action (in the UK), Temporary Residence (in the U.S.), and Spunk (in Australia). The deluxe edition of the release will include the album pressed on white vinyl, a 12″ of previously unreleased demos, a set of photo prints, and more. Mogwai have also shared the first track from the LP, entitled “Coolverine.” Find the new song, the album’s cover art, and tracklisting below. Mogwai have recently announced a world tour that kicks off in September. Last year, Mogwai collaborated with Trent Reznor on the soundtrack for the climate change film Before the Flood. They also released a soundtrack album called Atomic.
