Muse “Want to Do a Stage Made of Magnets So the Band Can Levitate” On Next Tour

Muse recently came off the tour behind their most recent album Drones, but the band have apparently already begun plotting the production behind their next tour. “We want to do a stage made of magnets so the band can levitate on other magnets. It’s those questions that keep me awake every night of my life,” said tour director Glen Rowe, speaking at the MUSEXPO Europe music & media conference (via Music Week). “If there are any magnet technicians out there, please come and see me because that’s what we’re trying to achieve.”

Muse are well known for their ambitious stage production; their recent tour featured actual drones flying overhead during the concert (though things went awry during a show earlier this year in London). Kanye West turned heads for his own stage (or lack thereof) earlier this year.
