Naughty By Nature Launch Kickstarter to Fund New EP, Announce Tour

Naughty by Nature are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a tour and the making of a new EP. They’re seeking funding via Kickstarter for the recording, mixing, and mastering of their new record.

Incentives for backing their Kickstarter include autographed memorabilia, dinner with the band, a private concert, appearances on the album and in their video, and partying onstage with the trio during select dates of the tour. Or you can go with Treach to get tattoos together, shoot pool with Vin Rock, or play basketball with Kay Gee. (“Experiences to be documented and shared on the Naughty by Nature YouTube,” the listings specify.)

The group said in a press release:

Kickstarter ensures that we will be able to have complete creative control over our new music. We will be able to do it the way that we want. More than anything we want to deliver a fresh new EP that also has that classic Naughty vibe. It has been years since we’ve all been in the studio together and the process of working on these songs has been really exciting creatively.
