Neil Young Talks Trump, Sanders, More on “Colbert”: Watch

Neil Young was a guest on tonight’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” The singer-songwriter appeared on the talk show to promote his forthcoming live album EARTH, which is due out June 17 via Reprise.  Young also discussed Trump (“The misogyny and the racism, those two key facts are something you can’t really ignore”), Sanders (“Oh, I’m feeling the Bern”), his high-quality, Toblerone-shaped music device PONO (“For your ears, it’s even better than a Toblerone”), GMO (“Frankenfoods”), and the state of music. Asked about the dearth of new songs proclaiming the power of love, Young announced, “I love love,” and gave himself a cuddle. In another bit, he argued with a giant ear of corn about genetically modified foods. Watch it all happen below.
