Neutral Milk Hotel Auction for Phil Elverum's Wife Features Fugazi, Bikini Kill, More

Last year, Geneviève Castrée, who has recorded as Woelv and Ô Paon, was diagnosed with inoperable, stage four pancreatic cancer. The diagnosis came just four months after she gave birth to her daughter with Phil Elverum, of Mount Eerie and the Microphones. Last month, Elverum announced the news through a GoFundMe page seeking donations to the family. Now, Neutral Milk Hotel has launched an auction to raise funds. The auction features merchandise from NMH, Fugazi, Bikini Kill, and Rites of Spring. There’s a Neutral Milk Hotel box set signed by the band that comes with an original piece of artwork from Jeff Mangum, the headstock of one of Guy Picciotto’s smashed guitars, rare signed vinyl from all four acts, and a signed Fugazi poster for the Instrument movie. Check out the auction listing here.
