Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum Selling New Original Handmade Drawings

Earlier this week, Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum began selling new, original handmade drawings on the band’s website. All of the drawings are a part of a series called “the book cipher sings.” Mangum has been selling original drawings on the NMH website since 2005. Fans are speculating that the drawings may be a lead-in to new music. Pitchfork has reached out to Neutral Milk Hotel’s representatives for comment.

According to the band’s website, unreleased tracks from Neutral Milk Hotel’s Box Set will be available on Bandcamp. “We’re going to be setting up a Bandcamp page so that you can download the previously unreleased Neutral Milk Hotel songs on a pay-what-you-wish basis,” a pop-up message reads. “Check back or follow the news RSS feed to be alerted of these releases.”
