New Kendrick Lamar Album untitled unmastered. Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart

Kendrick Lamar‘s new album untitled unmastered. has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The project was surprise-released on March 3. It sold 178,000 equivalent album units, 142,000 of which were pure album sales, in the week ending March 10, according to Billboard.

untitled unmastered. is Kendrick’s second chart-topping album in the past year. Following its release on March 16, 2015, To Pimp a Butterfly hit No. 1 with 363,000 album units (324,000 in pure sales) in the week ending March 22. TPAB was Kendrick’s first No. 1 album.

Recently, Kendrick announced release dates for physical versions of untitled unmastered. CDs are out now; vinyl is out May 27.
