New Pornographers Drummer Kurt Dahle Leaves Band

Drummer Kurt Dahle has left the New Pornographers, who announced the news on their Facebook, as Brooklyn Vegan points out. “Kurt Dahle is leaving the New Pornographers,” the band wrote. “It has been a great 15 years playing with an amazing drummer, singer and performer. We wish him the best. Everything is still full steam ahead with the band and we look forward to continued rocking and singing of songs.”

Dahle joined the band shortly after their inception, playing on every record from their 2000 debut Mass Romantic to this year’s Brill Bruisers.
