Nicki Minaj's The Pink Print: Release Date Not Yet Determined

Update: Nicki Minaj’s reps have told Billboard that the release date has not yet been determined.

After months of teasing, Nicki Minaj has officially announced the release date for her forthcoming album, The Pink Print, Billboard reports. The follow-up to 2012′s Pink Friday: Roman Reloded will be released on November 28 (which is Black Friday). So far, Minaj has premiered plenty of new material: “Anaconda”, “Pills N Potions“, as well as “Chi-Raq” and the Soulja Boy-featuring “Yasss Bish!!”, but there’s no word yet on a tracklist.

In a recent interview with MTV, Minaj revealed that the album’s title is a nod to– as well as a reinterpretation of– Jay-Z‘s famous 2001 LP, The Blueprint.

“I wanted to do that, I wanted to be like Jay Z,” she explained. “I felt like with what I’m doing, I want female rappers to be able to pattern themselves with what I’ve done one day.” According to Billboard, Minaj described the album’s sound to Hot 97 as “more stripped”, later giving the following quirky plug while on the red carpet of this years’ Billboard Music Awards:

“It sounds like betrayal. It sounds like running. It sounds like fainting. It sounds like love. It sounds like… *gasp!*”

So, which artists can we expect on this *gasp*-sounding affair? During an interview with Hot 97, Minaj expressed a strong interest in collaborating with Remy Ma: the highly influential Bronx MC who is currently finishing up an eight-year prison sentence served for charges of assault, weapons possession and attempted coercion (she’ll be released in July).“As soon as she get out, Rem holla at me,” she said.

Here’s “Anaconda”:
