Nigel Godrich Opens Up About Making New Radiohead Album

Nigel Godrich is Radiohead‘s longtime collaborator—he’s responsible for producing most of their albums including the one that was released today, A Moon Shaped Pool. The album features several tracks that were performed in the past, including “True Love Waits,” a song that Godrich once said the band “tried to record it countless times, but it never worked.” In a series of tweets, Godrich opened up about the album’s creation, revealing that it was “a very intense experience” for him. He also shared some photographs from the studio, presumably during the album’s creation. He wrote:

It’s out! Making this album was a very intense experience for me. I lost my dad in the process…Hence a large piece of my soul lives here..
