Nigel Godrich Shares Early Production Notes for Radiohead’s “True Love Waits”

Before it appeared at the end of last year’s A Moon Shaped Pool, Radiohead’s “True Love Waits” was a rarity—attempted in the studio, and released officially only on their 2001 live album I Might Be Wrong. The band’s longtime producer Nigel Godrich has now shared production notes from an early attempt at recording the song, which he dates back to the OK Computer era (almost 20 years before the song’s official studio release). Along with a sheet of paper featuring some of the song’s lyrics, Godrich tweeted, “A page from my notebook from recording OKC… old school pre computer editing…. this song didn’t make it anyway ;).” See his post below.
