Nonprofit Internet Radio Station Dublab Moving to FM

Dublab is the long-running experimental internet radio station founded in 1999 by Mark “Frosty” McNeill, Jon Buck, and other alumni of Loyola Marymount University’s KXLU. Now, it’s been announced that the station will begin broadcasting over terrestrial airwaves later this year, to be found on 99.1 FM. “We have the gear. We’re close to confirming the place for the antenna,” station director Alejandro Cohen told L.A. Weekly. “Later this year, we’ll be up and running.” There’s no exact date yet for Dublab’s first “real” radio broadcast, but you can tune in right now here.
