One Dead, Multiple Wounded in Shooting at T.I. Concert

At about 10 p.m., gunshots were fired at T.I.‘s concert at New York’s Irving Plaza tonight. At least four people were shot. Police told TMZ that it’s currently unclear how many shooters are involved. ABC7NY reports that a man, 34, was shot in the chest and another man, 33, was shot in the stomach. A woman, 26, was shot in the leg. A fourth person reportedly walked into the NYU medical center with a gunshot wound. According to CBS New York, the shooting was spurred by a backstage quarrel. T.I. hadn’t taken the stage when the shooting took place. It’s currently unclear whether or not arrests have been made, Billboard reportsUpdate (5/25, 11:27 p.m. ET): According to the NYPD, one of the victims has reportedly died. Update (5/26, 12:15 p.m. ET): The NYPD gave a briefing detailing the police’s investigation. The shooting took place in the third floor green room area. Maino and Uncle Murda were on stage during the shooting.
