Oneohtrix Point Never, aka Daniel Lopatin, has written the score for Partisan, an upcoming movie directed by Ariel Kleiman and starring Vincent Cassel (Black SwanLa Haine), as FACT points out. Watch a trailer below.

Partisan was produced by Warp Films, the film arm of Warp Records (the label to which Oneohtrix Point Never is signed). Here’s the film’s synopsis:

Alexander is like any other kid: playful, curious and naive. He is also a trained assassin. Raised in a hidden paradise, Alexander has grown up seeing the world through the eyes of his father, Gregori. As Alexander begins to think for himself, creeping fears take shape and Gregori’s idyllic world unravels.

Partisan will debut at the Sundance Film Festival later this month.

Previously, Lopatin created a live score for Koji Morimoto’s Magnetic Rose, and co-wrote the score for Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring.
