Patti Smith Announces M Train Book Tour

Back in April, Patti Smith announced M Train, the sequel to her award-winning memoir Just Kids, which is out October 6 via Knopf. Today, she’s announced an autumn book tour in support of M Train. Combining readings with conversation, the trek kicks off October 6 at the New York Public Library and concludes the following month in Seattle, Washington. Find a full list of dates below.
M Train isn’t the only new Patti Smith book arriving this fall. To mark the 40th anniversary of her seminal album Horses, HarperCollins will release an updated, expanded edition of 1998′s Patti Smith Collected Lyrics, featuring thirty-five new songs, new artwork, and an introduction from Smith. The 320-page hardcover book arrives October 27 via the publishing house’s Ecco imprint.
