Perfume Genius, Grouper, Shabazz Palaces Curate 2017 Le Guess Who? Festival

This year’s Le Guess Who? Festival will take place from November 9-12 in Utrecht, Netherlands, and as in past years, select performers for the 2017 edition of the fest have been curated by other artists. Perfume Genius, Grouper, and Shabazz Palaces have been tapped to curate this year’s festival. In addition to performing, Perfume Genius has invited Weyes Blood, Mount Eerie, Aldous Harding, and more; Grouper has invited GAS, William Basinski, Keiji Haino, and more; and Shabazz Palaces will bring Pharoah Sanders, OCnotes, and Natasha Kmeto. Elsewhere on the lineup are tUnE-yArDs, Jenny Hval, Liars, Ben Frost, Visible Cloaks, Kelly Lee Owens, Moor Mother, Julie Byrne, and more. James Holden will present a new performance called “James Holden & The Animal Spirits,” and Meredith Graves of Perfect Pussy is set to perform a poetry reading.
