Peter Hook and the Light are getting ready to tour the U.S. and perform the Joy Division albums Unknown Pleasures and Closer. After that tour is over, Hook and the band will return to England and perform every song Joy Division wrote and recorded in an 18th century church.

The full Joy Division catalog concert, called “So This Is Permanence” (taken from the lyrics of “Twenty Four Hours”), will take place at Christ Church in Macclesfield, England on May 18. The church sits in the center of the town where the group got started. Ian Curtis attended the church when he was young. According to a press release, the concert is the “live debut of the full repertoire”.

Proceeds will be donated to the Epilepsy Society and the Churches Conservation Trust.
