Pharrell’s Dope Soundtrack Detailed

Dope is an upcoming movie directed by Rick Famuyiwa about a nerdy teenager trying to survive the more dangerous elements of his neighborhood in Inglewood, California. In addition to contributing four new songs to the film (and executive producing it), Pharrell also curated the soundtrack, which has now been detailed.

The soundtrack is out June 16, and it features music from Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, Gil Scott-Herron, Nas, Naughty By Nature, and more.

Pharrell’s four original songs under the “Awreeoh” alias are those performed by three fictional characters in the movie (their band is called Awreeoh). Check out the full listing below.

A$AP Rocky also plays a supporting role in the film, which is out June 19.
