Pitchfork Music Festival Set Times Announced
Pitchfork Music Festival is only one month away! From July 15-17, Chicago’s Union Park will host Sufjan Stevens, Brian Wilson, Miguel, Broken Social Scene, Beach House, FKA twigs, Savages, Blood Orange, Car Seat Headrest, Porches, Carly Rae Jepsen, Anderson .Paak, and many more. Set times for the entire festival have now been announced. Check out the full schedule below.
Tickets are on sale now. Three-day passes are are available for $165 and single day passes are $65. You can purchase tickets here.
Pitchfork Music Festival is also excited to announce the Old Town School of Folk Music Kids Area, a special new addition to the 2016 festival for families attending with younger children. Kids will be encouraged to experiment with instruments, drum, strum, and pick up some fun festival giveaways. The kids area will be open Friday from 3-6 p.m., and Saturday/Sunday from 12-6 p.m.
As with previous years, the festival will feature Flatstock, CHIRP Record Fair, Coterie Craft Fair, and Book Fort. More information can be found here.
Additionally, the festival recently announced the Pitchfork Music Festival Voter Engagement and Mobilization Project, a new platform to support voter registration and political participation. In conjunction with the Public Action Foundation, the Voter Engagement and Mobilization Project aims to make a difference in both Chicago and the wider Pitchfork community.
And don’t forget about our pre-fest events, which include a performance by Broken Social Scene at Metro and a discussion with Mick Jenkins at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
