Pitchfork Nominated for Two Webby Awards

Pitchfork Nominated for Two Webby Awards

The site is honored to announce that Pitchfork has been nominated for two Webby Awards. The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which presents the awards, has nominated Pitchfork in the following categories: Web: Music (which we won last year), and Online Film & Video: Channels and Networks: Music for Pitchfork.tv’s Over/Under series.

Pitchfork is also a Webby Award Honoree for several categories. Pitchfork earned a nod in the Web: Best Individual Editorial Experience category for the site’s Panda Bear Cover Story. The Pitchfork Classic film detailing Slowdive’s Souvlaki is an honoree for the Online Video – General Film: Music category, and Pitchfork’s Pitchfork Music Festival Chicago 2015 site has been recognized in the Advertising: Best Home/Welcome Page category.

Two awards are presented in every category. The first is chosen by the Academy. The second, the People’s Voice Award, is chosen by the public. If you’d like to show your support for Pitchfork, here’s your chance to cast your vote and make your voice heard. Thanks for your support!
