Pitchfork Wins Webby Award

We’re pleased to announce that Pitchfork has won a 2015 Webby Award, in the category of Websites: Music.

Pandora won the People’s Voice Webby in the same category. Other nominees included Noisey, JerryGarcia.com, and the DNA Project.

The Webby Awards are selected by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Established in 1996, the Webby Awards are the “leading international awards honoring excellence on the Internet.” The 1,000+ member Academy includes “leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities.” Among the Academy’s members are David Bowie, Beck, “The Simpsons”‘ Matt Groening, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, Tumblr’s David Karp, director Darren Aronofsky, and many more.
