Portishead’s Geoff Barrow to Score New “Black Mirror,” New Movie Annihilation

Last year, Portishead and Beak> member Geoff Barrow teamed with composer Ben Salisbury to score Alex Garland’s Ex Machina. Now, the pair have announced a few more projects. In addition to scoring new Ben Wheatley surivival movie Free Fire, they’ve composed music for the forthcoming series of Charlie Brooker’s “Black Mirror” and Garland’s new sci-fi film Annihilation, which stars Oscar Isaac and Natalie Portman. Season three of “Black Mirror” is due this October, with Annihilation out next year.
