Powell’s Fans Smash Watermelons with Their Heads in New Video for “Jonny” Feat. Jonny (HTRK): Watch

Powell has shared the new video for his song “Jonny,” featuring Jonnine Standish of HTRK on vocals. Footage in the music video was crowdsourced from fans, who filmed themselves smashing watermelons with their heads against a variety of surfaces. Check out the messy (and rather painful-looking) video below. “Jonny” is taken from Powell’s upcoming LP for XL, Sport. It’s out October 14.

Last fall, Powell made headlines for turning an email from Steve Albini into a music video and billboard.
