Pulp's Jarvis Cocker Curates "20 Golden Greats" Playlist for Art Exhibition

Each year, Red Bull Paris selects an artist to soundtrack an exhibition in their art space; this year, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker had the honors. According to a press release, his set, “25 Golden Greats”, “present[s] a new kind of Gold Record: an imaginary award that seeks to uncover the nature of music and the intangibility of success” through the presentation vinyl records designed by Cocker which bear the names of fictional songs credited to labels like RCA Victor and Belter. The entire composition has been cut to LP, and visitors to the exhibition – which runs June 17 to August 28 at 12 Mail – will be able to snag it for free.
