Pusha T, The-Dream Collaborate on "M.F.T.R."

Next week, Pusha T will release new album Darkest Before Dawn, ahead of the long-awaited King Push next year. Today, he’s shared a new track called “M.F.T.R.” (More Famous Than Rich), featuring The-Dream and co-produced by Boi-1da and Hudson Mohawke. He shared the lyrics yesterday via Genius. Hear the track above; it premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show.

“When you look at society, it’s like a big masquerade even through social media,” he previously said about the song. “I’m from a time, an era and a lifestyle where you can’t really speak on it without really having it. To be more famous than rich seems to be a thing that’s going on right now and I’m not into that.” 

Update (12/8, 1:16 p.m. EST): Speaking with Zane Lowe, Pusha T revealed that he’s been considering throwing a G.O.O.D. music show or festival.

Update (12/8, 1:31 p.m.): According to Push’s interview with Lowe, King Push will drop in April 2016.
