Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alyokhina Working With Le Tigre’s JD Samson

At Vice’s 20th birthday party over the weekend, Pussy Riot‘s Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alyokhina performed Le Tigre‘s “Deceptacon”. It seems that the Pussy Riot/Le Tigre association doesn’t end there: The two women have been collaborating on new music and videos with Le Tigre/MEN member JD Samson, NME reports. 

In the November 29 issue of the magazine, Tolokonnikova clarified that though they’re working with Samson, they don’t intend to make a full album just yet. “Maybe at some point in the future we will do an album, but right now we want to make videos.” Details about the collaboration are currently unknown.

It’s also worth noting that the above Instagram photo was originally posted by Le Tigre’s Johanna Fateman.
