Rae Sremmurd Announce Debut LP SremmLife
Rae Sremmurd, the Mississippi duo of Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy, rose to prominence this year with their singles “No Flex Zone” and “No Type”. Now, they’ve announced their debut album. It’s called SremmLife, it was executive produced by Mike WiLL Made It, and it’s out January 6 via Ear Drummer/Interscope.
SremmLife is available for pre-order on December 9. Tonight, they’ll perform on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.
The album is the official inaugural release from Ear Drummer, which is Mike WiLL Made-It’s imprint. In a statement, the producer said of the duo’s debut album:
The album came together so easily and organically—it was really a fun album to make. I’m just as excited about this album as I was about Miley Cyrus’ album, as I was about Future’s album. This album is as special to me as any project I’ve ever been involved with. People are learning now that these guys are superstars, they’re here to stay. SremmLife is just round one.
