Ray J Disses Kanye and Kim, Teams With Chris Brown on New Track “Famous”: Listen

After being depicted in Kanye West’s controversial “Famous” video (and referenced in the lyrics to “Highlights”), Ray J has responded with a “Famous” of his own. His new track, also called “Famous,” features Chris Brown (who was also depicted in Kanye’s video). Ray J notably references Kim Kardashian and her family: “Look at the family, they walk around proud/All because she had my dick in her mouth.” After a few similar barbs toward the West/Kardashian family, he ends the verse with this: “I got me a baddass wife and I’m happy now.” That’s the track below. It will reportedly appear on Ray J’s upcoming album Raydemption.

Following its release, Kanye’s “Famous” video was parodied, derided, narrated by Werner Herzog, and nominated for VMAs. Kanye tweeted shortly after its release: “Can somebody sue me already.” The sculptures from the video have since appeared as part of an art exhibit.

The past few days have been fairly intense for Kanye. After voicing his support of Donald Trump, he cut off a show after sharing some harsh words about Jay Z, Beyoncé, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and others. Today, he canceled his remaining tour dates.
