RiFF RAFF Interferes in Pro Wrestling Match: Watch

On Sunday night, internet streaming channel UR Show staged UR Fight, a pay-per-view event featuring several types of fighters—boxers, mixed martial artists, pro wrestlers—competing on the same bill. The pro wrestling match pitted former Olympian Kurt Angle against luchador legend Rey Mysterio Jr., and ended with none other than the rapper RiFF RAFF interfering in the match to help Mysterio secure a victory. Here’s how it went down: Toward the end of the match, RiFF RAFF ran to the ring to prevent Angle from beating down Mysterio with a steel chair. As Angle attempted to deal with RiFF RAFF, Mysterio recovered to hit Angle with his signature finishing moves, allowing him to secure the pinfall victory. Then, he and RiFF RAFF celebrated in the ring. Below, you can watch a video of the whole ending sequence. Legendary commentator Jim “JR” Ross and former MMA star Rampage Jackson, who were handling the event’s play-by-play, can barely hide their surprise. “Angle’s been taken out of this game by RiFF RAFF!” Ross somehow exclaims with a straight face.

RiFF RAFF also performed at the event, so his interference wasn’t completely random. His affinity for wrestling has long been public: At the end of 2014, he claimed he was being trained for ring action by none other than Hulk Hogan.
