Rihanna’s “Bates Motel” Shower Scene Has a Twist Ending: Watch

Rihanna stars as Marion Crane in “Bates Motel,” the A&E series that serves as a prequel the Alfred Hitchcock classic Psycho. In the film, Crane is famously murdered in the shower. On last night’s episode, Rihanna got her own shower scene, but it didn’t mirror what happened in the original film. (Spoilers ahead, if you care about that sort of thing.) As the music got more tense and the camera zoomed in on the shower curtain, Rihanna pulled back the curtain, said “screw this shit,” and walked away without getting stabbed.
