Rough Trade Hosting 40th Anniversary Shows With the Raincoats, Angel Olsen, Scritti Politti, More

Forty years ago, Geoff Travis opened the first Rough Trade record shop in West London. Since then, the stores have expanded globally and there is now a Rough Trade record label. To celebrate the anniversary, Rough Trade has announced a series of concerts at venues across London. The shows feature Rough Trade artists, as well as on-stage collaborations. Among them are the Raincoats performing with Angel Olsen, the Pop Group sharing the stage with Protomartyr, and Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor playing with Scritti Politti.
